Data files and images of H₂O in cordierite

Water molecules in the channels of cordierite have been the object of much study. They can occur in two different orientations. One has the H - H direction in the water molecule aligned with the c-axis channel (Type I water) and the other has the H - H direction perpendicular to the c-axis (Type II water)
