Butlerite Visible Spectrum
(300 - 1200 nm)
Butlerite is a hydrated ferric phosphate, Fe(OH)SO4·2H2O.
Butlerite contains linear chains of ferric ions bridged by one OH group
and one sulphate group. Absorption bands are enhanced when the polarization direction is in the direction of the chain.
