Stewartite Visible Spectrum
(300 - 1200 nm)
Stewartite is a hydrated ferric phosphate, MnFe2(PO4)2(OH)2´8H2O.
Stewartite contains linear chains of ferric ions bridged by one OH
group
and one sulphate group. Absorption bands are enhanced when the
polarization direction is in the direction of the chain.
